Today’s been so boring Im stuck behind my desk And I’d like to go home soon But I have no clue when I dread getting stuck on the phone With only minutes to go Its so uncomfortable I can’t see this ending My wage is just enough Currently Im spending More than I’m saving up It’s hard once you’ve chosen a career You can’t simply disappear or get out of here You’ve gone too far you’ve lost your faith in ambition Just continue existing hoping someone will listen Oh life It’s unfair You’ve been led astray Its all work and no play from now on It ain’t fair How ‘bout a pat on the back How condescending is that It starts a weekend spent out of town Drinking to let your hair down while there’s no one around You’ve got no dishes no business Can’t tax it yeah that’s it Just laughing kick-backing Forget what’s next remember This is life It’s unfair You’ve been led astray Its all work and no play from now on It ain’t fair How ‘bout a pat on the back How condescending is that
