Love the interplay of the electric and acoustic guitars in the backing track. The melody is refined threading itself between the major and minors, it is perfectly reflective of the emotion in the lyrics. A complex and thoughtful song.

Comment by Bill Liggett

Top lyrics.. always with you. You’re a natural with melody. Surprise within the deceptively simple progression. 😎

For someone who's alighted upon writing lyrics - and singing them too - so late in life, this is a magnificent piece, Jonathan. Has all the hallmarks of one who has been doing it all their life...

I'd be lost if I had to write lyrics too. You singer/songwriters have a double task and you do well. I always listening to your latest.

Comment by David Spero

Great sounds !!!

Comment by spanishlilies

Quite a song, lyrics read well on their own and the guitars are pitched perfectly to them. It has given me an idea ;=)

Great Mike Campbell jangle on the intro, then that Neil Young inspired acerbic lead passage. The vocals have that lazy West coast feel of the 70s. I miss hearing that soft sound. Such a great listen JB.
