Jon Kirkendoll, based in Chattanooga, TN, has been performing since 2004, both as a solo artist and with other musicians. Influenced by artists such as Ray LaMontagne, Gregory Alan Isakov, and David Gray, Jon's style is best described as indie-folk with hushed acoustic guitar and delicate vocals that draws in and captivates the listener. When performing solo, Jon primarily sings and plays the acoustic guitar, but he also plays electric guitar, drums, and piano. As a multifaceted artist, he has a great deal of experience playing many types of music, from synth-pop to rock to outlaw country, and has performed many places, from The Basement in Nashville to The Cat Club on Sunset Strip in LA. Jon has performed all over the Chattanooga area, including at the Nightfall Concert Series, and has recorded on multiple albums with artists from the Chattanooga/Nashville area. Currently, Jon is performing as a solo artist as well as playing as an instrumentalist for other local bands.
