Time Trial At the age of 18 I was dreaming of being a musician. I played the keyboard in small reggae bands with school friends, doing inspiring openings for established artists. I discovered electro music while studying economics at the university, and started playing as a dj in a local club. My passion for academic content and my educational background forced me to focus on getting my master degree’s, and I started working as an economics & social sciences teacher. I was in a good position but I missed playing music and it made me feel anxious. So I tried to keep learning about : I dug it deep on Youtube, read about it, wrote about it on french blog 'Phonographe Corp'. At the age of 28 I decided to quit my job to study music production seriously. I’m now a part time teacher, aspiring dj and music producer. Like cyclists during a time trial, I am racing against the clock, doing my best without knowing if I will succeed but getting satisfaction from what I do. #TimeTrial Produced & written by : Ilmari Launo Arranged by : Ilmari Launo Mixed by : Ilmari Launo @ Ragtime Studio, Brussels Mastered by : Pieter De Wagter @ EQuuS, Brussels Follow me :
