When his short height and injuries hampered a promising career as goalkeeper, he turned misfortune into an opportunity to realise a long-term ambition. “Being a footballer taught me the beauty of discipline and belief. Honestly, I wouldn’t have the drive to succeed in music, were it not for my experience as a footballer,” says Christ. Football’s loss has turned out to be a gain for the music industry. An amazing songwriter and unique rapper, with a distinctly RnB style, Isaac is carving out his own niche on the music scene. With influences ranging from Tinie Tempah, Usher, Justin Bieber, P. Diddy and Jay Z, Isaac Chris has successfully made used of his English and French background to design an original music style. His numerous love misfortunes which groomed him as a “Hitch”, or “Ex-Hitch” rather, have been a major source of his songs’ inspiration. His debut single, entitled “London by Night” is the vibrant first offering of a rapper/songwriter that has still got a lot to offer to the music fans. Captivating lyrics such as, “I fancy a car ride; I wanna enjoy London by night,” make us feel the sensational atmosphere of London at night in a musical groove. The French lyrics of the rap give it an original touch and portray the multi-cultural environment of London at night. When mastering it, the well-renowned mastering engineer, Geoff Pesche, referred to it as a “hit.” This is far from being a hyperbole when one listens to it. When interviewed, Isaac said it took him and his team 6 months to come out with the right blend. This is finally paying-off as “London by Night” keeps impressing the music fans.
