Ponderosa by goopsteppa

With love happy to present another 9 tracks, most of them written in the last 2 years, some a while before . Ponderosa is named after the biggest pine trees on the ridge i could see outside my studio window, and the title song was started just before i found out i would become a dad <3 A lot of these have been written since i left the city to live back in the mountains, and have a smoother feeling representing the serenity of reconnecting with life closer to wilderness. Bird song, running water, crackling fire and instruments can be heard throughout the tracks. Stoked to include 2 collabs, one with my long time friend Oddwan who came over to spend some time riding the mountains with me, and another with Congi, a big musical inspiration, started while one of them stayed at my house for a week a while back as we did some shows together. Big up! Its been a ride for me the last couple of years, and some of these have been basically done for a moment now! But i tend to many things, family being in the forefront now, along with growing food, cultivating my spirit and building webs of community. May this music feed your heart and soul, and take you on beautiful journeys. I offer this with sincerity, from the heart, in honour of creation and beauty, family and friends, the generosity of our earth, and the magic breathing web of life we are all a part of .
