I work full time as a Business Intelligence developer, but in the spare time I have, I enjoy creating music and have done so for many years on and off. The name Galactic Shades of Dust is a name a previous colleague of me suggested for a song I made which I didn't have a name on, so I thought why not use what he suggested for artist name. You' will find that track in my track list. I do listen to a lot of music, get inspiration and every day is a new chapter to learn something. I am doing everything self and have learned a lot regarding mixing and mastering. If someone enjoy a song I've made it makes me happy. If someone have feedback on what I've made I appreciate that too. I started in the eighties playing in the local school band and later discovered fast tracker/Scream tracker, then I continued to Cakewalk and have the last at least ten year used Cubase and is on version 12. Among equipment I use are: Korg Z1, Yamaha CS1x, Roland MC303, Novation A-Station, Casio CZ1000, Waldorf Blofeld, Waldorf Pulse 2 and DSI Prophet 08. Recent I've bought and solder an Ambika and PreenFM2 which was very fun. I use a lot of software synth like Diva, Hive and Arturia package, Korg collection, Surge. Most of the songs listed here have been created a long time ago. When I became a father it was hard finding time to create, therefore I’ve been off for some time. But I have now started creating again and am looking forward for every creative moment. I will upload new tracks when I as soon as I finish them. I am continuously working on several projects. Music I enjoy listening to is Jean Michel Jarre, Chromeo, Chvrches, Luke Million, Daft Punk, Mezzoforte, Lifelike, M83, old disco classics like Earth Wind and Fire, The Brother Johnson and D-Train and of course a lot of the music that came out in the 80s and 90s.
