Kassian return to Faux Poly after 3 years, marking a new chapter for both the duo and the label they founded. Locked / Ghost Dub keeps things direct. Both tracks are born from hardware, staying true to Kassian’s process while leaving aside any overarching concept. Instead, this is their most direct statement yet; functional, raw, and made for DJs. Locked is a bass-driven breakbeat track with a distinctly UK flavour, atmospheric, spacious and designed for a real soundsystem. "This is our first release on Faux Poly since October 2023. After focusing on our album and the club remixes, we felt it was time to return to our home ground, putting out club material without overthinking concepts or narratives that you get with longer projects. This EP is formed of 2 ideas we’ve developed during that period, bringing together new styles and techniques we picked up along the way. With our first India tour coming up this October, it feels like the perfect moment to road-test something new."
