Evan Chappell comes from a country, yet urban geographic area of South Carolina (Upstate). Singing was a passion that derived from not being able to play sports as a child due to injuries. Instead of playing basketball on the court, he went to the stage with just his voice and his guitar. His chances at being a star, was close when he took his chances at being on America's Got Talent. Of course, he got his advice he was seeking from the judges, came back home to hone his skills. Now, he has molded into the artist he always seen himself being, and is now back in the studio recording.
