Evan Telia (born December 22nd, 1986) Is an Australia DJ who continues to deliver his unique brand of house music to cities around the country and most frequented nightspots. Currently holding residencies at Royal Saxon, Alumbra, Brown Alley and Less Than Zero. Evan has an undeniable love for all things music, which saw him enter the world of DJ-ing at the age of 17. With instruction from two of Melbourne’s club scene heavy weights; Steve Bleas and Baz Emera, Evan was taught the ropes and managed to work his way from local house parties to securing weekly gigs at clubs all over Melbourne. Evan’s distinguishable style, comprised of elements from soulful, deep, chicago, tech house and all this funk! Evan’s soulful yet uplifting sets combined with his ability to read any audience is what makes him unique, and his success has led him to support international acts including Derrick Carter, Dennis Ferrer, Ron Carroll, Marc Evans, DJ Spen and the list goes on. Playing sets on Melbourne radio station Kissfm. Having said that, his biggest gig to date was playing under the international house music label Defected. 10 years on and after all of his accomplishments to date, at the age of 28, Evan continues to draw inspiration through his love for house music and is driven to deliver sets weekly to Melbourne’s nightlife.
