Noise

The love for electronic music awoke ESSØESS at the age of 12, inspired by a close childhood friend who introduced him to this world. When he was first introduced to important sites such as the Butan in Wuppertal and the Rheingold (former Poison Club. closed) in Düsseldorf, in 2012, his heart immediately caught fire, and a passion that would accompany him throughout his life began to captivate him. The atmosphere in the clubs, the love that could be felt in the air and the dancing crowd that moved rhythmically to driving basslines in ecstasy - like a single harmonic movement - fascinated him from this initial moment. This is where the journey began, on which he is to this day. Motivated by this seizure, imbued with passion and curiosity, he devoted himself to laying on in 2014. He developed his own, very personal sound, driving, energetic, groovy and unmistakeably far away from any mainstream. Soon after, the first gigs followed, e.g. in Dortmund's absolute club, where he made the dance floor glow in 2015. Further bookings were not long in coming: from the popular Butan Club (Wuppertal) to the Frohnatur (Essen), Grace Jones (Essen), Klangkeller and Alter Schlachthof (Düsseldorf), as well as the Project 42 (Mönchengladbach) led him on his way to Cologne to the Artheater, where he played at the bar. It is hardly surprising that after a short time, the Club Stilvoll (closed) in his hometown, Neuss, drew the talented newcomer as a resident and planned him for one of his fixed events. In addition, Kammer (Düsseldorf, closed) booked him as a resident DJ in 2015. He was also able to gain festival experience and thus add another important point of experience to his career as a DJ: On the one hand, in 2018, in the Essigfabrik at the Affenkäfig-Festival (Cologne) and on the other hand through a gig, 2022 at the legendary Sea You Festival (Freiburg im Breisgau) on stage 5. Already throughout Germany, ESSØESS has been a guest in numerous podcast series, and his performances prove again and again that his sound can satisfy the tastes of listeners of different styles: For example, he records sets for well-known labels in the Cologne area, such as the famous Hasenbau for the young Crew Serotonin as well as for the popular Kassiopeia series, in Freiburg for the Black TECHNO Friday podcast, Saarbrücken also already enjoyed his sound full at his auditory expense with his sets for the Gryphon podcast and for ZOODIAK with Friends.
