Easy Kill
Manchester
Easy Kill (Theo Tobias, Ronan Clowes, Alex Howes, Andrew Keaveny and Samuel Wall) are an English alternative rock band from Manchester, that formed in 2013. Their songs are rich and melodic; gently building to capture moments of clarity and catharsis. Tobias’ lyrics celebrate our often-stigmatised internal lives as he lays himself bare. The band’s name then aptly refers to an Elliott Smith line suggesting thoughtful people are inherently vulnerable. Having previously released two EPs and a self-produced LP to critical recognition and national radio play, Easy Kill recorded their second album, Slow Release, predominantly live at Manchester’s iconic Blueprint Studios. It’s set to arrive sometime in 2020. For fans of The National, Big Thief, Death Cab For Cutie, Grizzly Bear and Anthony & The Johnsons.
