Scratch's Dub (A nod to Lee Perry) Available on Bandcamp https://dubmatix.bandcamp.com/album/tubbys-dub-scratchs-dub The bridge between rocksteady and roots began in the late 60s into the new decade of the 70s and with it, the sounds, tempo, and styles evolved into the next phase which would become roots reggae. Still, in between, there was a short period of time where the music and lyrics straddled the past and the future. Lee' Scratch" Perry was at the forefront of this change and played an essential role in developing new sounds, ways to utilize sound fx, and production styles.
