Wetzi is a 29-year-old DJ from Germany. What started with House has evolved into a driving, energetic sound that leans towards Hard House infused with Trance elements. His sets are more than just raw energy, they are crafted to resonate emotionally, to carry a soul, and to take the crowd on a journey that both pushes forward and connects deeply. Influences from Techno and occasional Drum & Bass elements add further layers to his dynamic sound. This stylistic versatility is also reflected in his dynamic sets, which are often embellished with custom-produced mashups and edits that push genre limits and create unique, high-energy moments on the dancefloor. Highlights of his journey include performances at Hessentag 2017, World Club Dome Pool Sessions 2021, Parookaville ING Village 2023–2025 and appearances for Motion in 2025. In 2025, Wetzi co-founded the DJ collective R1, a creative hub born out of the vibrant scene at Rollwerk Rüsselsheim. With R1, the collective aims to foster collaboration among like-minded artists, promote local art and culture through events, and build a community where people can escape everyday life and celebrate together.
