“Kat Revolution has been into music for as long as he can remember. His specialty is sampling and recreating mankind’s most favourite tunes. He has been a resident Dj at The Smile Club (Toronto), and has booked gigs at popular Montreal nightclubs. After relocating to one of the top 10 party cities in North America, Kat Revolution started his professional career by producing a debut album for two up-and-coming artists, STS and A’yla. In the summer of 2008, Kat traveled to Kiev, Ukraine, to work on a project consisting of 3 parts – “The idea is to keep the live performances going in order to promote the Buddha-boy album.” While the Dj (Dj Baby Rose) is playing the main rhythm and beat, the vocalist (BlackFreddy 2) along with Kat Revolution (on Keyboards) would either cover the written parts, or improvise to modify and innovate the pre-written tracks. “Working as a Dj really brings out speed and common sense in a person” says Kat, “it teaches you to react without any time to pre-plan – it’s a totally different experience than sitting down in a studio and producing a song.” Kat Revolution satisfies his fans with a more Electro House approach to music. Titles such as “Fucking Shame”, “Shine For The Sun” and “Its Over Now”, have really launched his production career ahead.
