South African born artist/producer/songwriter Kelebogile Mokoena (born 25 November 1995) professionally known as Brains Jadamiz, began his rapping at age 9 honing his freestyling skills until song writing across genres seemed only fit from about the age of 16. His second Mixtape released 2014(Brainstorm Vol .1), allowed him to better understand what he had to present to the world. A few singles were well received within his home town, songs such as “Fear of her” and “Dear Diary”. In 2015 he went on to study Sound Engineering at the Academy of Sound Engineering. It was within this year he released his latest solo single to date Uncle Ruckus a song which allowed him to blend dance melodies with a dash of trap, later on that year he was featured by likes of Piet Toni on a the track titled She. With the skill set taught by the Academy it provided him a producer role working with poets Southern Comfort and Wazi M Kunene. Giving a much needed push to his skill set, leading him to new heights inclusive of many genres, with his stint only lasting a year at the Academy. Apart from being an artist who would rather not box himself into a specific genre, blending different genres together and yet still leaving room for enjoyment for a listener. His main focus in terms of musical style would be hip hop, as it still bears a heavy influence on how he lays out his songs. Though being mainly a hip hop artist, his vocal style brings forth a touch of Pop Rock with a light rasp. 2018 is year that saw him blossom on stage performing at the first Isdwadlo Nomsindo sharing the stage a alongside Tj Jupiter and various artists as they debut the collaboration song Toxins which later released music video shot and directed by Magnitude Studios. He currently working on a project called Ned a 7 track EP meant to cement all that he has come across in past ,aiming to give the world a unique mixture of music. Music being such a vast ocean he has always looked at bridging the gap. A loveable jam as Brains Jadamiz describes it, stroking a bit of storytelling whilst making it free spirited.
