BLUE-JOHN VS SKY MOUSE (PRODUCED BY QUIDGYBOPPER) – (Sonnet for a) Chivalrous Knight Ashamed by Blue-John Vs Sky Mouse

We made a Scott Walkerish sort of thing. Heaven only knows what we're going to do with it.
(Sonnet for a) Chivalrous Knight Ashamed
This fountain must be sealed, as well you know.
Your heart will flood with what, blood-ripplingly,
can never be. Your drowning will be slow.
Go at once. Trickling in search of the sea,
moon-silvered fingers form pools ankle-deep.
You pulled a double rainbow from your sleeve:
a bit of luck. But words unuttered keep
you stuck. A fool in thrall, you fall, deceived.
Oh no—Oh Christ!—an iridescent Love
has come. Between the leaves, Her beauty snuck.
That madly flutter-sparking soul above
is yours. An emerald endlessness took
its husk. She was, is still, the summer’s long
enrapturing—the river’s looping song.

thank you for presenting the lyrics as well, dense stuff.
