Blu Singer
Stacey Young
Canterbury
Stacey has spent the last 2 years as manager and lead vocalist with a resident band back at Park Resorts in Cayton Bay, Yorkshire, UK. She currently performs around the UK as lead singer of 'The Stacey Young Experience' and is hoping to work in other parts of Europe in 2012 and beyond. At 17 Stacey was the youngest girl to be shortlisted for a girl band named 'Personelle'. Unfortunately she was too young and it wasn't to be and by the time the band released their first single The Spice Girls were already number 1 and the rest is most definitely history... One of the most influential and interesting parts of her career so far has seen Stacey working with original songwriters Paul Creed, Nick Bartley and Rick Da Costa. All have written tremendous songs and have asked Stacey to sing her unique and beautiful vocals on them. This has not only helped Stacey creatively but has taught her about production, studio technique and how to use her voice to create the right vocal for each track. Most recently Stacey has seen these original tracks played on numerous International radio stations, her local station KMFM who showed a keen interest in her vocal talents and even on BBC Radio York. A Nashville independent record label 'Klever Records' has recently shown interest in one of Nick Bartley's tracks 'Lost' and has asked Stacey if they can use her vocals as they'd like to publish the record, so even ears accross the pond are starting to listen. All of this recent exposure has since led to interest in managing her, requests to buy her songs and local media interest. So here's hoping that Stacey Young gets the credit and success she deserves as her musical talents are natural, honest and simply breathtaking.
