Pitched battles of epic proportions, sand oceans, necromancers performing their rituals, foaming at the mouth… Everything in Blood Ages' music arouses mental pictures, and for good reason: a story hides behind each and every riff. Death metal certainly, but of the oneiric sort. The band was born in 2009 in this incubator for metal which Toulouse (France) has become. In September 2012 the combo releases its first album, “At The Height Of The Storm”, recorded at Winterized studio (Stille Volk, Fornication, …). Without drawing breath, Blood Ages continues to develop by welcoming in 2014 seasoned guitarist Pat “Billy” Berbié (Fleshdoll), and rushes in his company to Conkrete Studio (Gorod, Otargos, Loudblast, …) to begin the recording of its sophomore effort, “Godless Sandborn”. In the meantime the band issues a digital re-edition of its first album on the main streaming platforms (Deezer, Spotify), and augments the twentyish concerts to its credit with an opening slot for Cannibal Corpse at the Bikini (Toulouse). Eager to be active at the local level, the band members are involved since 2011 in an association called “Brutal Frog”, which promotes and organizes live gigs in the Toulouse region. Blood Ages is now at a critical juncture in its existence and wishes to add a further step to it. While the mastering of “Godless Sandborn” is being polished up, the company pursues its quest - for partners notably: label of course, but also tour booker or promoter.
