‘Faded’, written by producer & composer JLB and lyricist and MC R0kitman, is our first MC-led release since BDEM002 back in 2011.
But, now we have R0kitman on the roster we hope that this will mark a new era for BDEM in the world of UK Hip Hop, with other MC’s in the pipeline to drop releases with us soon too!
R0kitman is a deep powerfully voiced UK Hip Hop MC with vibes reminiscent of Context or Loyle Carner, with nods to Skinner with a harder-hit. He’s the kind of UK Hip Hop artist we've been waiting to have on the roster for some time.
As for the producer… We’ve been waiting to get JLB on our roster for YEARS and we’re so pleased he’s finally part of the team. An extremely versatile producer who typically we’ve come to expect Dubstep or Future Garage from, but his UK Hip Hop feels go real deep.
‘Faded’ is a two-track release, both with tracks essentially about being drunk, high and seeking some cheeky fun.
