Biography: Ever since childhood Wiebe Roose was predestined for music. Music has been his motivation, passion, life, love and slowly it became his profession. To him, a day without music is a day without life. At the age of 6 he began playing drums and any other kind of percussion he could get his hands on. Shortly following he began rapping, composing Hip Hop and DJ-ing, always finding language and sound to be his strongest skill. Later on he discovered his passion for music would become his life after being exposed to wide expanse of musical genres. Beginning with hip hop going true drum and bass, psytrance, goa, dub, deephouse, house, minimal, techno. Ultimately, he found that all kinds of music can set his emotions free but he’s at his best playing deep-techno with melodic techno and progressive deep house. His recognisable sets can best be described as a psychedelic mix between pounding deephouse and deep melodic techno with trippy groovy vocals and adding multicultural elements for a truly unique sound. Next to his love of playing the decks he’s producing some of the deepest sounds himself and has a passion for bringing to life events from deep within your imagination. In addition, for six years he has had the fortunate experience of teaching DJ classes at Metronoom Music Academy and most recently he started his own DJ Academy in Berlin after living there and immersing himself in the music community for the past 8 years. He now is hosting two party series in Berlin with his cocreational art collective: ArtIDicction. The one event, called as the collective is focusing on art in all its forms and Techno in all its glory... Hedomanie focusses on freedom, sex positivity, respect, consent, performances, unique monthly changing themes and decorations and of course the unique ArtIDicction sound... For the future, there is much more to come from this mind and ear doctor. His deepest wish is to inspire others to follow their passions by creating and sharing his love for music with the world.
