The teenage son also gets to hear it and the atmosphere around the table becomes miserable to say the least. They really needed some techno. Norwegian Mov(i)es podcast is a mix series where each mix is inspired by iconic scenes from Norwegian movies. Norwegians are known as one of the world’s most stiff peoples in the world both on the dancefloor and as characters in movies. As I am half Ghanaian and half Norwegian I’ve taken on the challenge to loosen up my countrymen. The rules and steps are simple: One movie scene, a lot of hardgroove and hypnotech to blow the clunkiness away, before reaching a higher place with some trance. Then, to celebrate the liberation of mobility, I always finish of with one tune from the genre that Norwegian hips fear the most...hip-hop. Good swing, get in!
