Russell Johnson aka Rustle grew up listening to Michael Jackson, Curtis Mayfield, Confunkshun, Heatwave and the Isley brothers. Rustle started getting really into hip hop when Jay Z’s the black album came out. When Mac Miller’s kids dropped, that was the first time he listened to an artist he could relate too. In 2013 Russell moved from Riverside Ca to Boise Idaho. In Boise Russell met Wontel Washington and was over at his house when Wontel and rapper Kidd now known as Asaiah ziv were video chatting. This was around the time HippSavy was being released and Wontel was working on Jump Mann ft J Givens. Rustles music is god centered but real enough for anyone to listen to. Music is great but God is life.
