85 Collective is about sharing our passion for music and fostering a community of like-minded individuals. We are a trio of multi-genre DJs: Lahiru (Lahiru), Lucas (LCN) and Jack (cadenza). Their high-energy selections span through house, garage, techno and breaks, often with a deep groovy bassline that is core to their sound. What started as a passion project between Lahiru and Lucas to throw the best house parties in Bristol, it has since evolved. A busy year has seen them play at The Crofters Rights, Loko Club, Love Inn and soon will be supporting Ross From Friends and Maribou State at Motion. From September, we have been running a free-to-play weekly live stream every Monday 6.30PM-10.30PM. This has slowly grown into a community of creatives and DJs who has a comfortable space to come and showcase their skills. It’s equally important to us to provide a platform for beginner DJs to hone their skills and move their talent from the bedroom to the club as much as providing a space for experienced DJs to grow their brand.
