66 - A Rock and Roll Band
66 Rock and Roll Band
London
66 are a rock and roll band whose flame burned briefly across the city of London for a few years in the mid Noughties. They were apparently, by all surviving records, banging top lads. Despite at times being more renown for their offstage antics, drug problems and constant fighting, than their unashamedly retro rock and roll music. Until now, there was not a trace of their music left anywhere. But fate, and a few beers, stepped in. Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you, 66, the story of a rock and roll band. 66 were Jim Corny on lead vocals, Jamie Boy on growling bass, Dave Cruz drumming and both Wailin' Paul Wilson and Mark Sweettones on duelling guitars. Man them kats wuz crazy.
