6 Day Bender’s avatar

Born in the woods outside Charlottesville, Virginia, 4-piece band 6 Day Bender plays mountain rock ‘n’ roll: a genre-straddling blend of rock, blues and bluegrass that convincingly plants one foot on the front porch and the other in the garage. The band’s second full-length album, E’ville Fuzz, releases on Election Day. The title references the farmhouse in Earlysville, Virginia, where the band crafted the album’s thirteen songs, as well as the ‘fuzzier,’ more blues-oriented dimension the album explores. The band’s self-released first album and raucous live shows have earned them honors such as: - Sponsorship by Dickies Clothing - ‘Next big band from Charlottesville’ by The Hook, Charlottesville’s premier free weekly paper - ‘Top five bands to watch south of the Mason-Dixon Line,’ by Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine - ‘Artist of the month' by Eastern Surf Magazine - Feature story on TwangNation.com
