@funk-advisor @vik-rokit What started as two homies meeting up on the weekends to mix, turned into a production duo with one goal in mind: To provide Bass to everyone in need. The two met at Funk Advisor's first gig in 2010. Vik Rokit handed him a mixtape and decided they decided to meet up and mix together. 2 x 4 sessions were the norm and they quickly developed a keen ear for each others mixing. This lead to the idea of performing in the same fashion. They went on to play many shows together, each with their own equipment bringing a diverse experience to the stage. After a few months the two turned to production and picked up Ableton Live as their weapon of choice. With a few original tunes in their arsenal of beats they ventured out and were able to join up with a production company (Head on High Prod.) to become the resident DJ's. Momentum grew for 5th Bar Drop and in 2013 they have shared the stage with Joker, Plastician, Footsie (Newham Generals), Swindle, Thriftworks, Cloud D, Stylust Beats, and many more. Keep your eyes and ears open for Funk Advisor and Vik Rokit as there will be plenty of 5TH BAR DROP tracks and shows coming up in the near future.
