Hindi Transliteration:
Jeevan hi swayam apni paribhasha bhi hai Chandravan shubhushan .
Woh jala bhi hai, aur trishna bhi.
Sat aur asat, 2 tataaon ki bheech bethi hui, ek nadi hai jeevan.
Is paani mein dono ka mil hai.
Par Satpurosh woh hai, jo is sarovarsi, sat kaarleta hai.
Aur apne vasta par asat ki ek boondh bhi nahi padne deta.
Jaise hansa doodh ko paani se alag kar leta hai.
Approximate English Translation:
Life is its own definition.
It is both water and thirst.
Truth and Untruth, the river of life flows between these two banks.
Both exist simultaneously in the river.
A man of truth siphons truth from this river.
He does not let untruth even touch him.
Like a swan differentiating milk and water.
Devanagari:
जीवन ही स्वयं अपनी परिभाषा भी है |
वह जल भी है और तृष्णा भी |
सत और असत २ तटों की बीच बैठी हुई एक नदी है जीवन।
इस पानी में दोनों का मिल है |
पर सत्पुरुष वह है, जो इस सरोवर से, सत काड़लेता है |
और अपने वस्त पर असत की एक बूंद भी नहीं पड़ने देता |
जैसे हंस दूध को पानी से अलग कर लेता है |

La vie est sa propre définition.
C'est à la fois de l'eau et de la soif.
Vérité et contrevérité, entre ces deux rives se trouve un fleuve de vie.
