Conditions for claiming the voluntary manufacturer's warranty from sonoro (sonoroCARE)

  1. The provider of the "sonoro care" manufacturer's warranty (hereinafter: manufacturer's warranty) is: sonoro audio GmbH, Hammer Landstraße 45, D41460 Neuss (hereinafter: sonoro). 
  2. The sonoro care manufacturer's warranty applies to purchases of original sonoro goods from an authorized specialist dealer or goods from sonoro's online store at www.sonoro.com. sonoro is entitled to make fulfilment of the manufacturer's warranty dependent on the presentation of proof of purchase. 
  3. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase and ends two years after the date of purchase (one year in North America and Australia). No new manufacturer's warranty period begins with the repair or replacement of a purchased item. 
  4. Within the warranty period, sonoro will provide the warranty service either by repair or replacement, at sonoro's discretion. 
  5. Repairs will be carried out either by sonoro itself or by a specialist dealer authorized by sonoro. If a purchased item is returned to sonoro for replacement or repair, sonoro will bear the cost of shipping (within mainland Europe only), following sonoro's instructions for return shipment.
  6. VAT is always included in the prices for the manufacturer's warranty. Unless otherwise specified, the price for the warranty is due no later than 10 days after the customer places the order. 
  7. The manufacturer's warranty does not apply
    • improper use or misuse including, but not limited to, failure to use the purchased item for its normal purpose or in accordance with sonoro's instructions for use and maintenance.
    • if the purchased item is used in conjunction with accessories that have not been approved for use with this product.
    • for batteries contained in or enclosed with the object of purchase.
    • for necessary maintenance, repair or replacement work due to normal wear and tear.
    • in the event of damage to rechargeable batteries due to overcharging or failure to comply with the special instructions for handling rechargeable batteries in the operating instructions.
    • for repairs not carried out by sonoro or authorized specialist dealers.
    • for damage caused by improper use, e.g. destruction or damage caused by gross negligence or intent.
  1. The claims arising from the statutory warranty or liability for material defects always apply in addition to the manufacturer's warranty and are not affected by it. 
  2. German law shall apply in addition. The German text of the manufacturer's warranty remains binding, even if these conditions are translated into other languages.
