Where

Living and working in Dublin, Ireland. I moved here in 2019 and it's home now. Working in my own community in North Dublin is where the ideas for Coolock Village, Meitheal, and ElectricTown started to connect.

Building

I'm bootstrapping products from zero. Real PM work: user discovery, TAM validation, PRDs, backlog prioritisation, competitive positioning. The work uses the same rigour I brought to Zendesk and HiveNet, with technical choices that mirror enterprise patterns: DDD bounded contexts, structured logging, automated testing.

Coolock VillageCivic surface

A North Dublin public surface for local businesses, services, events, and community context. It is the practical origin point for the multi-tenant platform work.

A Home Assistant-native task and strategic planning hub. Local-first by design: your data never leaves your network. 6 early testers running on their own hardware.

ElectricTown.ieLocal labs

An Ireland-focused public surface for local AI, open-home hardware, and practical labs. It sits beside Coolock Village and Meitheal as a live platform surface.

Shared architecture, separate experiences

BulkheadOS runs this site,Coolock Village,Meitheal, andElectricTown.ie as separate public surfaces. They ship from a single monorepo. Multi-tenant by design, with shared packages for SEO, auth, and domain logic.

For Meitheal, I used RICE scoring to decide what to build first. Calendar sync scored higher than the task board because early testers spent more time context-switching between apps than managing tasks. Household execution has the same coordination problems as enterprise product teams, but nobody builds tools that respect that.

I write about the product thinking behind these surfaces in Field Notes, and you can see how I work day-to-day.

Exploring

Enterprise delivery

Shipped critical compliance surfaces at Zendesk through cross-functional alignment and rigorous execution

AI production

Evaluated AI automation across 10,000+ real conversations at HiveNet

Founder ownership

Building products from scratch as a solo founder, right now

I'm looking for a product role where I can apply nearly a decade at Zendesk supporting, building, and shipping trust-sensitive enterprise systems, plus everything I've learned reading more about product strategy than I probably should be. PCI compliance workflows, DPA automation, fraud-sensitive systems. Remote-first for the right team, happy to be hybrid in Dublin.

If your team has a domain that hasn't been properly productised yet, cross-functional alignment challenges, and business metrics that need to move, that is the work I am looking for.

Work authorisation: Stamp 4, Ireland. No sponsorship required.

After Hours

My Co-founder, Bruce

Taking care of my blind, three-pawed shiba inu. He plays life on hard mode and is an absolute legend.

Community Impact

  • Olio Food Waste Hero: Going to Tesco, picking up about to expire but will never sell in time food to redistribute locally. Doing something beats doing nothing.
  • Civic Engagement: Making my neighborhood visible through CoolockVillage.ie.

Learning Brazilian Portuguese

Using Duolingo, supplemented by the Falou app for speaking practice.

Learning to Write

Sharpening my communication via writingcourse.com (George Mack & David Perell).

Routines

  • Gym: General fitness routines and working out with my partner, Jess.
  • TV: Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and This Is Us.

Focus Boundaries

I'm keeping the search deliberately narrow: a product role with a deep problem, a serious team, and enough surface area to build context over time. Advisory conversations are welcome when they sharpen that direction, but the main goal is joining a team where the hard systems work matters.
