about

Rotation returns with another specially selected release from the DAT archives, re-loaded and remastered for 2025, this time by close label friend Mark Seven, also one half of the early Rotation duo, Point Zero. Delivering the jamming house and tech-funk infused 'Dancefloor Techniques Vol. 1 EP', originally released in 1998, Mark Seven showcases some serious groove slammers that were a mainstay in Dave Angel's sets at that time.

The formation of Dave Angel's renowned Rotation Records at the beginning of the 90's gave the earliest platform to some of the biggest names in the scene today, such as Adam Beyer, Christian Smith, Steve Rachmad, Deetron, Vince Watson, Laidback Luke, The Advent, Jamie Anderson, Bryan Zentz and Misstress Barbara among many.

With the entire back catalogue previously available only via original 12's, Rotation is remastering some of its classic releases to educate a new generation of electronic music lovers, whilst rekindling that connection with fans of old, via the infectious Jazz influenced UK Techno and Tech-Funk sound the label became revered for.
