Fifty for fifty success!

So I thought you ought to enjoy a parade of mice, all made for a good cause. This is most of them, not all.

I was completely blown away by the support for this venture. You did me proud, raggyrat fans ....

We funded 20 places for those in need enabling them to take the Court Confidence course, and attend court as a Litigant In Person, something I have had to do myself

I hope you enjoy the mice. And maybe spot yours! I can’t believe I’m 50 but it was good to mark it in some way.

#50forfifty - 50 mouse countdown!

My entry for #50PreciousWords made me want to make some more mice. Mice are quite nice.

Now add on the fact that on May 12 this year, I hit 50. Eeek. So I have decided to make some mice, and count down to the big day and help fund some free places here, on the Court Confidence course, for those that really need it. I have done this course and attended court without representation.

So back to the mice, I’ll start making and sharing one mouse a day in a little over a weeks time. Both here in the blog and on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. You just need to get in touch if you would like to adopt one of them. #50forfifty ...

A Happy Birthday 12+12

Two not-so-little-but-will-always-be-my-babies girls are twelve today. They wanted really big badges ....

So this years handmade cards feature some felt flowers and a couple of strong safety pins, with stitching and a dot of wadding in the middle.

I think they like them. Our next mission is to give some fabulous Lalaloopsy dolls a makeover or two. Twelve may be awesomely grown up, but it’s still great to play and craft with mummy. Bring it on. I’ve got my own Lalaloopsy doll too ....

Happy 6th Birthday Mary ...

Wow! I can't believe Mary is 6! I think she is pretty amazed too ... This blog came into being just before she was conceived!

So of course it was her turn to have her own Sock Monkey and she was really pleased and took him to school. More publicity for me!

I think these two are going to have some fun together!

Little Mary, who is almost 6, wished them well. Which shocks me as this blog is now been running over 6 years and began all that time ago with a fishy project :-) Have you ever made a Sock Monkey? I do love monkeys ....
