Booked through the app, or so I thought. When the - 20% sale was on. The money was taken (haven't been reimbursed yet) and when I contacted them I was told that I had indeed a reservation but it had been cancelled and I would not be able to rebook with the same discount (I'm sorry but I kinda want my money back before rebooking because if it happens again, even if they reimburse at some point, it'll be money tied up). I found the tone and emails from eurostar quite unpleasant...

So, it's a good app, BUT, if you have the app long enough, some bookings may get "stuck" and you will need to clear the cache to get rid of them. I had one from 2023 that just didn't disappear from the front page and I requested it to be removed, to which, the service person said it couldn't because it wasn't booked with Eurostar...totally missed the point that it shouldn't be there in the first place. Alas, clear the cache!

No way of changing ticket within the app in real time in case of cancellation. The method is in fact nothing more than sending a message to the eurostar staff. Totally useless when a train has been cancelled and you have to travel the same or the next day. You have to contact eurostar by phone (and hold on for 20 minutes) but the app does not even have a contact phone numbers. Also, booking is not always saved for off-line - check it has really been saved before setting out for the station.
