Razzy likes to rustle the leaves on his walk.

Sharing favorite photos of the Fall season.
When the grand-daughter was little, she wanted to rake up the leaves with her new rake, and she worked to rake them all up. Then the Leaf Fun began as you can see. So much for raking the leaves into a nice pile.
Have a great week ahead.
Happy Fall

Fall in Ohio has arrived along with some cooler weather. This week, it is to be in the 40’s at night and lows of 60’s and 70’s of a daytime. I love, love Summer, but I am finally ready for the cooler weather since our Summer was so hot.
Just sharing a bit of Fall colors for October. Have a great month.

We see so many times in the word that God turns things the way they should go. He did it for Mordecai in the Book of Esther. He does it for us every day even when we don’t stop and realize.
The little bird that sings in the tree, he sings for me. My gift from God in His creation. The song he sings reminds that God is in control. The song reminds that if a little creature as a bird can sing so beautifully~How much more are our songs with Love in our hearts.
We can rage, we can wail, but to no avail~God is in control. He is reminding me that when we speak, we should speak with Love. Love begets Love and Hatred only fuels worse than hate. And, sometimes in that hate, God will use it to send the hater to the gallows (as he did Haman). Esther 4:1-7:10

Only 4 leaf clover I’ve ever found so had to photograph it.
Spray from behind our little boat. I miss those days as I love to fish.
Big leaf from past walk when the grandson was very young. He was my past walking/photography companion, but he’s all grown up into a young man now. Miss those days..
Hope all are having a good Saturday. Guess just going down memory lane today with some past photos.

Resharing some of my past Digi scrapping. I enjoy just seeing how starting with a blank background and then seeing where the inspiration takes me. As I am definitely no artist, this is a fun way to create. I’ve always wished I were artistic with paint and canvas, but nope. lol So this is my best way to think that I am. hahaha
If you like digiscrapping or are an artist, would love to see your artwork or paintings. Leave a link to your website or just leave a comment saying hello so I can come visit you no matter what you blog about.
Thanks for stopping by.

Took Razzy for a walk in the wooded area in a local park that I’ve discovered. It’s close by, but never in all the years that I’ve lived here knew it existed. It says it has 60 acres, but we only went down one trail, but only part way. Razzy enjoyed all the sniffing. We didn’t venture too far because it really doesn’t have the trails marked very good. Didn’t want to get lost plus ended up hotter that day than I was expected so Razzy and I both were ready to head back home for a nice cool drink.
As you can see, there were some weird looking mushrooms (I think) growing. The tree had an unusual design. Trees are always interesting.
Happy Saturday.

My poor flowers that I planted from seeds have done miserably this Summer. I maybe get one to sprout every now and then. Pretty sure when they started to grow, I had too many and I didn’t thin them enough. This is the latest that I discovered this morning. Maybe another is trying, it kind of looked like. I googled it and that is what it says it is. I’m pretty sure that I knew the seed packed had listed Asters as one of the flowers. It also listed cone flowers, but they were so tiny , and only few of them bloomed. They were not the big cone flowers that I always love to see. Guess it’s my learning curve on planting flowers from seeds. I usually just buy annuals. Those have done really well.
How’s everyone’s flowers done this Summer. I’m just not a green thumb gardener, but I do love seeing what will grow each season.
Here is my Dahlia that has done really well. It’s an annual. I use to save the bulbs at end of growing, but never had much luck when it came to replanting them the next season. I may try again this time to save them. I probably didn’t put them away correctly or something.
Have a happy day, and weekend.

For years, I’ve used a bread making machine. And, the stubborn person I am, I wanted it to make a decent loaf of bread. I had caved in ones, ones with lots of holes, over cooked ones, just not a decent loaf. Once in a great while, one would be passable. I do have a really good recipe that I found on a post on the internet, but still just wasn’t like a loaf of bread should be.
Recently, I caved and decided to just let the machine do the work, and then place it in the oven. Since then, they have been really good results. Plus, I think deciding to try a different bit more quality bread flour has made the bread better.
Anyway, for now making bread is my option. After my heart attack this year, I was told to only us whole grain bread (can’t stand it though) so I’m hoping making my own with only a few ingredients is also a healthy choice. Although, I know, should not really be having bread at all is the best choice, but gotta admit, I love having my toast of a morning.
Anyway, that’s my bread story. If you guys make bread, any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks
