Abstract

The invention pertains to the field of heating and cooling of buildings by solar energy. It consists of replacing standard covers of buildings by a construction with a metal cover (1) consisting of two layers between which there is a chanel (2) for circulation of air by natural or artificial convection, as well as with a reflecting panel (5) wihich is mounted at the upper edge of the roof. In such a way absorption of solar energy is provided, both that which directly illuminates the roof and that which is reflected from the panel. The construction is given in a few different forms, which does not mean that the same invention cannot be used in a somewhat modified way. This invention results in a considerably larger amount of energy which is transferred to the air circulating through the building, than is the one obtainable without the use of the reflecting panel.
