Abstract

A system and method for purchasing pre-paid vouchers and recharching pre-pay accounts (183) for goods and services. The system includes a data source containing data descriptive of a voucher (120) or account. The data source is accessible by a transaction system (100) for responding to user service transactions and may be accessible by a fulfillment service provider for providing the goods or services based upon the voucher or account data. The system may be accessed through a variety of service end points, including conventional automatic teller machines (ATMs)(110), point of sale (POS) systems, and personal communication devices.
