Abstract

The present application relates to a virtual reality headset, as this type of headset generates an increased temperature in the contact area as a result of other electronic components present in the headset during operation that release thermal energy, which raises the temperature in and around the eye area of the user's face, in addition to the frame separating the eye area from the surrounding environment, which contributes to insufficient ventilation. This problem is overcome by adding two small fans to the internal left and right sides of the headset, which help introduce cool air into the area around the eyes, thereby lowering the temperature thereof. The fan operates at two low speeds to prevent adverse eye complications.
