FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[2] The present invention relates to The ( FUNCTION ) of the slip fittings for sink connectors, bath connectors, pan collars, repair lengths, repair fittings, in all sizes. Adapted to all pipe fitting material. And geometric form.
[3] The invention has been developed primarily for the use in plumbing and will be described hereinafter with reference to this application field of use. However, it will be appreciated that the invention is not limited to this field of use.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[4] When a plumbing pipe fitting needs installing, repairing (e.g. 100mm DWV PVC sewer pipe ) Plumbquick rubber connector, PVC slip sockets, bosch clamp, are used to repair or install a new fitting in an existing line.
[5] To reflect the problem Plumb quick is a rubber sleeve with metal clamps that tighten when installed to seal joints together.
[6] Slip sockets is an PVC socket that slides over the joint with solvent cement to seal the joint.
[7] To reflect the problem, a plumber cut out the section of pipe that needs repairing due to ( eg,* tree roots penetrating the pipe and blocking the pipe, leaking joint or pipe due to ground movement or human interruption, installs a new fitting into an existing line whether PVC, earthenware, ductile iron pipe or galvanized pipe.)
[8. a] The main problem is installing a new fitting in between two fix points (eg. pipe ) slip sockets or flexy applications are the current alternative methods of repairing.
SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26)
[8] Over time the plumb quicks move and unaline the pipe causing blockages.
[9] Slip sockets tend to leak because when installing the gluing process, the plumber glues to the ends of pipes. Then slide the slip socket off one pipe onto the other pipe pushing the glue of the first pipe, leaving minimal solvent cement glue to have a correct amount sealing capacity compromising the seal.
SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26)
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION ( FUNCTION)
[10] According to another aspect, there is provided pipe PVC SLIDE FITTINGS comprising:
[11 ] A male fitting with female slidable fittings with an ( e.g. Teflon, Rubber ) seal. Sealing a low to medium or high-pressure Drainage system.
[12] The main body and socket or spigot ends may be made of pvc or( pvc-u)( pvc-c) ( pvc-m)( pvc-o) to adapt.
[13] The main body and socket or spigot may be in all pipe sizing and material (pvc-u)(pvc-c)(pvc-m)(pvc-o) for plumbing or other pipe services.
[14] The main body may be in all types of angles and bends, tee’s and junctions, straight lengths, pan collar, connector’s, double bowl sink connector,
[15] The fitting may be adapted to other types of pipe material ( e.g. earthenware, ductile or galvanized). To be adapted with an inner support sleeve and rubber outer sleeve when clamped seals the rubber to the existing pipe, the other end is a slide fitting connector.
[16] The main body and socket may have an (e.g. Teflon, rubber ) seal on the socket to seal when slid over the existing pipe, as an alternative for an underwater application.
