Abstract
The invention relates to a method for creating a directly routable animated link on the content displayed on the web- or mobile-based TV series, movie, or video platforms, characterized in that it comprises the steps of starting the integration via the specified resource (URL), processing the resource (URL) information into the database, defining the second layer to provide the resource (URL) to be inserted on the video file, defining the guide line on the second layer, which indicates the coordinates that the interactive animated cursor will follow on the video, defining the cursor which will move between the two ends of the created guide line in the desired part of the video, and associating the cursor with the resource (URL) which was previously processed into the database.
Description
METHOD FOR CREATING A DIRECTLY ROUTABLE ANIMATED LINK
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to a method for creating a directly routable animated link on the content displayed on the web- or mobile-based TV series, movie, or video platforms.
STATE OF THE ART
With the introduction of the Internet into our lives, the digital media began to take the place of the traditional media day by day. However, the major acceleration in this regard was with the introduction of the smart mobile devices and social media into our lives. Since each user can easily produce a live content or record it, the content sharing has increased. Since these shared contents are watched by other users and can be shared again, a content has become accessible to a large number of the audiences.
Today, it is possible to assign the links to these contents, which are produced for advertising, promotional or informative purposes. However, these links which usually appear in the top right corner of the video can be positioned in a fixed way and cannot fully attract the attention of the audience.
Said link may be a general information and guidance about a subject, or it may also be an informative, promotional, or purchasing link about any product appearing in the video.
One of the studies on the subject in the state of the art is the Japanese application no. JP2002232807. There is a U.S. application no. US2002129156 in the patent family of the same application. It is described in this application that the video displayed can be matched with any link to be assigned thereto at any time point and this can be done multiple times. In the relevant application, the link assigned appears on the screen as a fixed link.
The location of the product to which a link is assigned may change on the screen due to the fact that sometimes the camera and sometimes the product itself is moving. In such cases, if a link for the informative, routing, promotional or purchasing purposes about said product is to be assigned, the audience may not be able to match the link with the product.
In summary, due to these disadvantages and the inadequacy of the present methods regarding the solution, it became necessary in the relevant technical field to carry out R&D studies in order to create a link which will move with the product on the screen while the video is playing.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for creating a directly routable animated link on the content displayed on the web- or mobile-based TV series, movie, or video platforms, which meets the above-mentioned requirements, eliminates all the disadvantages, and brings some additional advantages.
The main object of the invention is to create an animated link which is about a product and follows this product which is moving at any time point of the video.
Accordingly, another similar object of the invention is to provide the link to be correctly matched with the product by the user.
The general object of the invention is to provide a link, which will follow a linear or curved line to be drawn between two points to be determined on the video, to be displayed at the desired time point of the video and for the desired duration.
The structural and characteristic features of the invention and all its advantages will be understood more clearly thanks to the detailed description below. Therefore, the evaluation should be made considering said detailed description.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed description, a method according to the invention for creating a directly routable animated link on the content displayed on the web- or mobile-based TV series, movie, or video platforms will be explained only for a better understanding of the subject and without any limiting effect.
The process according to the invention is described below in the form of the sequential steps:
• starting the integration via the specified resource (URL) (1001),
• processing the resource (URL) information into the database (1002),
• defining the second layer to provide the resource (URL) to be inserted on the video file (1003),
• defining the guide line on the second layer, which indicates the coordinates that the interactive animated cursor will follow on the video (1004),
• defining the cursor which will move between the two ends of the created guide line at the desired time point of the video and for the desired duration (1005),
• associating the cursor with the resource (URL) which was previously processed into the database (1006), and
• adjusting the properties of said cursor such as size and color (1007).
