Abstract
Description
本発明は、上述した事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、部品点数を抑制しつつ、視認性を向上させることができる前照灯を備えた鞍乗り型車両を提供することを目的とする。
鞍乗り型車両は、主灯体と、導光部材を発光させる副灯体と、前記主灯体および前記副灯体を収納するハウジングと、前記主灯体および前記副灯体の照射光を透過するアウターレンズとを備えた前照灯と、前記前照灯の周囲に配置される車体カバーとを備えた鞍乗り型車両において、前記副灯体は、車幅方向に一対設けられ、前記車体カバーには、前記アウターレンズを外方に露出させる開口が形成され、前記車体カバーは、前記副灯体毎に、前記開口を第一開口部と第二開口部とに分割する開口分割部を有し、正面視において、前記開口分割部は前記副灯体に重複し、前記副灯体は前記第一開口部と前記第二開口部とに跨って配置されている、ことを特徴とする。
自動二輪車1は、車体フレーム10(車体)と、前輪2を操舵自在に支持するフロントフォーク11と、車体フレーム10の後部に支持されるユニットスイングパワーユニット12と、後輪3と、乗員が跨るようにして着座するシート13とを備えるスクーター型の鞍乗り型車両である。
自動二輪車1は、車体フレーム10等の車体を覆う車体カバー14を備える。
前輪2は、フロントフォーク11の下端部に支持される。
操舵用のハンドル20は、フロントフォーク11の上端部に取り付けられる。
ユニットスイングパワーユニット12は、後輪3を駆動するパワーユニット21と後輪3を揺動自在に支持するスイングアーム部22とが一体に設けられている。
パワーユニット21は、内燃機関である。後輪3は、スイングアーム部22の後端部に支持される。スイングアーム部22の後端部とシートフレーム18の後部との間には、リアクッション23が掛け渡される。
車体カバー14の前部は、車体フレーム10の前部を前方から覆うフロントカバー30と、フロントカバー30の上方でハンドル20を前方から覆うアッパーカバー31と、車体フレーム10の前部を後方から覆うインナーカバー32とを備える。
前輪2を上方から覆うフロントフェンダー33は、フロントフォーク11の下部に取り付けられる。フロントカバー30は、前輪2及びフロントフェンダー33の上方に位置する。
ヘッドライト34は、フロントカバー30の下部に設けられる。
フロントカバー30は、ヘッドパイプ15及びダウンフレーム16の上部を前方から覆う。フロントカバー30の前面40は、車両側面視で後上がりに傾斜する傾斜面である。また、フロントカバー30の前面40は、フロントカバー30の車幅方向の中央部が最も前方に位置する形状となるように全体的に湾曲している。フロントカバー30の前面40は、車両後方側に向かうに従って車幅方向の幅が大きくなる。
ヘッドライト34は、フロントカバー30の前面40の下部から前方に露出する。
ハンドル20は、フロントフォーク11の上端部から左右に延出するバーハンドルである。
アッパーカバー後部46の上部には、車速等の情報を表示するメーターユニット35が設けられる。
アッパーカバー前部45は、ハンドル20に沿うように車幅方向(左右方向)に長く延びる。アッパーカバー前部45は、ハンドル20の車幅方向の中央部を前方から覆う。
ヘッドライト(前照灯)34は、車両中心線Cに対して左右対称に形成される。なお、本実施の形態の説明では、車両中心線Cに左右対称とは、外観の全体形状が凡そ左右対称である形状も含む意味で使用する。ヘッドライト34は、正面視では、略V字状の上縁34Aと、上縁34Aの両端に接続され両端から下方に延びる略U字状の下縁34Bとを有する。ヘッドライト34は、側面視では、全体が後上がりに延びる形状をしている。ヘッドライト34は、平面視では、略U字状に後方に延びる形状をしている。
本体部66の下部には、左右一対のビーム発光部(主灯体)80、80が設けられている。
ビーム発光部80は、車幅方向内側の第1の発光部81と、第1の発光部81よりも車幅方向外側の第2の発光部82を有する。各発光部81、82は、不図示の光源と、リフレクタ81A、82Aとを有する。各発光部81、82は前方に光を照射する。各発光部81、82の光源は、不図示のビーム用の基盤に設けられており、図示しない電気ケーブルを介して電力が供給される。リフレクタ81A、82Aは、各発光部81、82の光源が発した光を前方に向けて反射する。本実施形態では、ビーム発光部80により、ハイビームを発するハイビーム発光部およびロービームを発するロービーム発光部が構成される。
本実施形態では、第一延出部92Aが車幅方向外側に進むに連れて上方に緩やかに傾斜し、第二延出部92Bが車幅方向外側に進むに連れて上方に急激に傾斜する。つまり、正面視において、第一延出部92Aの第一角度θ1は45度よりも小さく、第二延出部92Bの第二角度θ2は45度よりも大きくなっている。
ハウジング60と、ビーム発光部80と、ポジションランプ90と、フロントウインカ95と、アウターレンズ70と、各種のポジション光源91などにより、本実施形態のヘッドライト34が構成される。
サイドカバー58は側面視で、フロントフォーク11の後方まで延びている。
また、フロントウインカ95が発光すると、アウターレンズ70のウインカ透過部79を通過した光が、サイド開口部59Bを通じて車両前方および側方に照射される。
フロントインナーカバー51と、フロントアウターカバー56とにより、本実施形態のフロントカバー(車体カバー)30が構成される。本実施形態のフロントカバー30では、フロントインナーカバー51と、フロントアウターカバー56とは、別体であるが、フロントインナーカバー51と、フロントアウターカバー56とは一体でもよい。
本実施形態のヘッドライト34は、ハウジング60と、ビーム発光部80と、ポジションランプ90と、フロントウインカ95と、アウターレンズ70と、各種のポジション光源91で構成されたが、例えば、エクステンション(インナーレンズ)などを有しても良い。
上記実施の形態では、鞍乗り型車両として自動二輪車1を例に挙げて説明したが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、本発明は、前輪または後輪を2つ備えた3輪の鞍乗り型車両や4輪以上を備えた鞍乗り型車両に適用可能である。

- 主灯体(80)と、導光部材(92)を発光させる副灯体(90)と、前記主灯体(80)および前記副灯体(90)を収納するハウジング(60)と、前記主灯体(80)および前記副灯体(90)の照射光を透過するアウターレンズ(70)とを備えた前照灯(34)と、前記前照灯(34)の周囲に配置される車体カバー(30)とを備えた鞍乗り型車両において、
前記副灯体(90)は、車幅方向に一対設けられ、
前記車体カバー(30)には、前記アウターレンズ(70)を外方に露出させる開口(59)が形成され、
前記車体カバー(30)は、前記副灯体(90)毎に、前記開口(59)を第一開口部(59A)と第二開口部(59B)とに分割する開口分割部(56A)を有し、
正面視において、前記開口分割部(56A)は前記副灯体(90)に重複し、前記副灯体(90)は前記第一開口部(59A)と前記第二開口部(59B)とに跨って配置されている、
ことを特徴とする鞍乗り型車両。 - 前記導光部材(92)は、正面視において、車幅方向に対して第一角度(θ1)で延出する第一延出部(92A)と、車幅方向に対して前記第一角度(θ1)とは異なる第二角度(θ2)で延出する第二延出部(92B)と、を備え、
正面視において、前記第一開口部(59A)の内側には前記第一延出部(92A)が配置され、前記第二開口部(59B)の内側には前記第二延出部(92B)が配置されている、
