Abstract

The present invention is a kind of PRP extraction set and kit from collected blood which contains a polymeric tube, from polycarbonate or polypropylene or any other polymer with medical grade that has a cap on both ends and is equipped with a cap holder in the upper cap to be placed in the centrifuge. At the other end of the tube, the presence of a rubber cap prevents blood from escaping and its extracted parts during centrifugation. At the end of the tube and close to the opening, the presence of several hollow and bulge rings makes it possible to fix the terminal cap to the body of the tube with the help of a heat-sensitive polymer piece, such as a varnish that become tight during the heating and prevent the cap from egression due to centrifugation and pressure.

COLLECTED BLOOD WITH THE ABILITY TO CONCENTRATE THE
SEPARATED ELEMENTS
TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to medical equipments and tools to separate PRP from extracted blood and also relates to the structure of a cylindrical kit as well as vacuum tubes and tubes for extraction and collection of blood.
TECHNICAL PROBLEM AND PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION
After centrifugation and separation of various elements of the blood, due to the large diameter of existed containers, the layers required for separation and extraction has generally low height and after the centrifugation, it is not possible to separate them or the accuracy of the separation is very low and practically it’s impossible to increase the concentration in PRP platelets.
PRIOR ART
The extraction of platelets, in the situation where there are maximum numbers of platelets in the extracted part and also the definitude of extraction of platelets is such that the minimum number of elements existed in the extracted part, is one of the common challenges. In this regard using various volumes and the process of centrifuging blood in these containers is completely a common method. Using the test tube as the centrifuge operation platform is one of the common methods. In this regard different methods were used to reduce the amount of platelets loss which can mention to the followings:
The invention with WO/2004/026372 publication number, filed dated September 19, 2003 in WIPO, named “Device and method for separating blood into leukocyte depleted blood components “.this device is for separating blood into blood components comprising: - a collecting container for receiving blood (WB), - a first satellite container connected, in fluid flow communication, to said collecting container through a leukocyte filter for receiving from said collecting container a leukocyte depleted first blood component (PRP), - a second satellite container connected, in fluid flow communication, with said collecting container through said filter for receiving from said collecting container a second leukocyte depleted blood component (PRC), and flow control means for allowing fluid flow from said collecting container selectively into said first or second satellite container through said leukocyte filter whereby whole blood (WB) can be separated into a first (PRP) and second (PRC) leukocyte depleted blood component with a single leukocyte filter.
The invention with EP19950203411 application number, filed dated March 22, 1991 in EPO named “Apparatus and method for removing undesired matter from blood cells”. This invention generally relates to the devices and methods for collecting and processing blood. Especially this invention related to devices and methods of removing white blood cells from red blood cells before transferring the blood or its long term storage. Systems composed of multiple, interconnected plastic bags have met widespread use and acceptance in the collection, processing and storage of these blood components. In the United States, these multiple blood bag systems are subject to regulation by the government. The invention with W02003063930A1 publication number, filed dated February 01, 2002 in WIPO, named “Whole blood collection and processing method”. A method is disclosed for collecting and processing whole blood. Whole blood is collected at several remote donor sites and transported to a central blood- processing center, where information regarding demand for blood products is used to direct processing of whole blood into blood products. Whole blood is initially collected in collection bags unattached to satellite bags instead of commonly used multiple bag sets. When the determination is made at the blood processing center as to which blood products are to be made, the appropriate satellite bags and/or other system components are sterile docked to the blood-collection bag and the whole blood is processed.
The invention with US20140371048A1 publication number, filed dated December 29, 2012 in USPTO, named “Integrated kit for separating blood and concentrating PRP and method for extracting PRP using the same” is an integrated kit for separating blood and concentrating platelet rich plasma includes (a) a main body includes an upper storage portion, a lower storage portion, and a passage portion for connecting the upper storage portion and the lower storage portion; (b) a upper cover coupled to an upper end of the upper storage portion; (c) an inner stopper inserted into a lower end of the lower storage portion so as to seal the lower storage portion; (d) a closing adjustment screw which can move vertically while penetrating a hole formed at the inner stopper and seals the passage portion;
The invention with WO2010122548A2 publication number, filed dated April 19, 2010 in WIPO, named “Assembly, device kit and method for preparing platelet- rich plasma (PRP)”. An assembly comprising a test tube for receiving a blood sample or a platelet-comprising fraction thereof and for obtaining therein, by a procedure that includes centrifugation, a platelet rich plasma (PRP) fraction; an elongated filter device having a first and second end and a lumen extending there between, and having a filter fitted at the first end, the filter having a effective pore size such to permit passage of platelets and not permit passage of white blood cells (WBC) larger than a defined size into the lumen, the second end having an opening; Another invention with WO2019016577 A1 publication number, filed dated July 18, 2017 in WIPO named “Method, device and kit for the preparation of PRP”. This invention discloses a method, device and kit for the preparation of PRP”. This is provided a medical device comprising a first blood bag for collection of whole blood from a patient and a second blood bag for separation of a platelet rich plasma (PRP) fraction, wherein; a whole blood inlet is provided at a first end of the first blood bag and a first blood bag outlet is provided at a second end of the first blood bag and a packed cells outlet and a plasma outlet are connected to the first blood bag outlet and a flexible plastic tube connects the plasma outlet to a plasma inlet of the third blood bag. The invention with PCT/IB2017/053464 application number filed June 12, 2017 in WIPO named “Preparation kit by blood bag with capability of centrifuge in one stage”. The present invention is a kind of structure and method of application of PRP by blood bags in small dimension. In this invention based, there are three polymeric blood bags included. In advance, by touching the mentioned needle’s kit the vessel of the sick’s body and by considering the place of kit, its established completely under the surgeon's needle, blood are transmitted to first blood bag . After that, we can separated some components of blood in Two bag and re- back PPP to first bag for re- injection to patient.
The other invention with W02019021033A1 publication number, filed dated July 22, 2017 in WIPO, named “PRP production kit with the ability to re-inject the remaining elements after separating PRP from the blood”. In the presented invention, by using two connected polymer bags and the connection to the drawing blood, the first separation in the first bag and transmission of the blood components; such as RPP into the second bag and re- injecting the remaining blood to the considered person are possible. The invention with PCT/IB2018/060154 application number, filed dated December 16, 2018 in WIPO, named “PRP set production with cylinders equipped with fixed and mobile internal structure for increasing platelets density concentration”. The present invention is a kind of polymeric cylinder which has a similar diameter on the outside at bottom and top and similar diameter or different size at the inside. In its upper section, the application plastic lid which is often made of Polypropylene enables it to be fixed in the depressed part and not move towards the bottom of the container as a result of centrifugal force during centrifugation because of the existence of protrusion on it. On upper part of the lid, there is a specific connection for connecting syringe through which operator or doctor can extract the content of container if necessary by pushing lid down. Thus, separated blood elements can be extracted without disturbance .This package has a air vale on the door for auto adjusting of air pressure at the phases filling.
Another invention with PCT/IB2019/054121 application number, filed in May 20, 2019 in WIPO, named “Apparatus and equipment for the extraction of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from blood”. This invention is an apparatus and device for separate elements of blood. In this invention an apparatus for the extraction platelet-rich plasma will be presented. This apparatus is a polymeric tube that can be equal in diameter at the top and down. At the top, the use of plastic bottle cap, which is most times made of Polypropylene, enables it to be fixed in the top part by the thread and seal by a gasket. This cap can seal by other methods that use for capping for example sealing similar to a water bottle cap with a ring of same material of cap in the connection area. In this invention, we divided the tube into three parts that make an apparatus.

ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION
There are two caps at two ends of the tube in which the upper cap is equipped with a holder cap to be placed in the centrifuge and at the other end of the tube the presence of a rubber cap prevents blood from egression at the time of centrifugation.
At the end of the tube and close to the opening, the presence of several hollow and bulge rings makes it possible to fix the terminal cap to the body of the tube with the help of a heat-sensitive polymer piece that become tight during the heating and prevents the cap from egression due to centrifugal force and pressure. The location of upper and lower cones is designed to place in the area of connecting cylinder to increase concentration and better separation of platelets and the upper cone based on the percentage of blood elements after separation of elements of PRP section.
INDUSTRIAL USE OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to the medical equipments and devices for separating PRP from extracted blood, as well as the structure of cylindrical kits, as well as vacuum tubes and tubes for extraction and collection of blood. In another word it can be stated that the present invention contains a polymeric or glass tube to collect the blood, two rubber cap on upper and lower part of tube and a cap holder on upper part and a heat-sensitive polymer piece which the polymeric cylinder is from polycarbonate or polypropylene or any other polymers and there is a rubber cap on each end of the tube. Also the upper cap equipped with a cap holder to be placed in the centrifuge machine and the rubber cap at the lower part of the tube prevents blood from escaping and its extracted parts during centrifugation process. There is a heat-sensitive polymer piece that becomes tight during the heating and can fix the terminal cap to the tube body and prevents the cap from likely egression due to centrifugal force and pressure, the inside shape of the tube is tighter in the form of two incomplete cones connected to each other using a middle cylinder and based on the percentage of blood elements after separation of elements, the PRP section is placed in the area of connecting cylinder and the upper cone. By inserting a syringe from the lower part into the desired tube, can bring out a certain amount of red blood cells existed at the bottom of the cylinder after the centrifugation and regulate the correct height of the separated elements as well as reducing the existed amounts in the tube. The presence of anticoagulants inside the tube prevents from coagulation of the extracted blood, The vacuum in the tube causes the maximum amount of the extracted blood to be collected inside the tube at the time of extraction of blood and also there can be no vacuum in its main tube, the lower incomplete cones connected from top to the middle cylinder can move the lighter elements of the blood to the upper part at the time of centrifugation and the meeting point of cones with the middle cylinder and also the place where the cones frame connected to the main tube has not any fraction on the connecting angle and is done in the form of a curve in a completely soft surface angle.

Claims

What is claimed is:
1- The invention double headed cap cylindrical kit to produce PRP from collected blood with the ability to concentrate the separated elements contains a polymeric or glass tube to collect the blood, two rubber cap on upper and lower part of the tube and a cap holder on upper part and a heat- sensitive polymer piece.
2- The invention of claim one in which the polymeric cylinder is from polycarbonate or polypropylene or any other polymers.
3- The invention of claim one in which there is a rubber cap on each end of the tube.
4- The invention of claim one which the upper cap equipped with a cap holder to be placed in the centrifuge machine.
5- The invention of claim one in which a rubber cap at the lower part of the tube prevents blood from escaping and its extracted parts during centrifugation process.
6- The invention of claim one in which there is a heat-sensitive polymer piece that become tight during the heating and can fix the terminal cap to the tube body and prevents the cap from likely egression due to centrifugal force and pressure.
7- The invention of claim one which the inside shape of the tube is tighter in the form of two incomplete cones connected to each other using a middle cylinder.
8- The invention of claim one in which based on the percentage of blood elements after separation of elements, the PRP section is placed in the area of connecting cylinder and the upper cone. 9- The invention of claim one which by inserting a syringe from the lower part into the desired tube, can bring out a certain amount of red blood cells existed at the bottom of the cylinder after the centrifugation and regulate the correct height of the separated elements as well as reducing the existed amounts in the tube.
10- The invention of claim one in which the presence of anticoagulants inside the tube prevents from coagulation of the extracted blood.
11- The invention of claim one in which the vacuum in the tube causes the maximum amount of the extracted blood to be collected inside the tube at the time of extraction of blood.
12- The invention of claim one in which there can be no vacuum in its main tube.
13- The invention of claim one which the lower incomplete cones connected from top to the middle cylinder can move the lighter elements of the blood to the upper part at the time of centrifugation.
14- The invention of claim one which the meeting point of cones with the middle cylinder and also the place where the cones frame connected to the main tube has not any fraction on the connecting angle and is done in the form of a curve in a completely soft surface angle.
