Abstract
The invention is a new cleaning conveyor (1), which purifies and eliminates luggages (V) of airplane passengers from harmful viruses, bacteria and microorganisms by disinfecting them at entrances and exits of the airplanes with special features; Containing a body (10), mounted so as to remain stationary on the movable bands (B), which ensure the carrying of the luggage (V), containing a plurality of UV light generators (11) disposed within the said body (10), which destroy harmful micro-organisms, characterizing in that said body (10), that comprises a plurality of disinfectant nozzles (12) to dispose harmful microorganisms by spraying disinfected liquid onto the luggages (V).
Description
A CLEANING CONVEYOR
Technological Field:
The invention relates to a cleaning system, which removes pests, bacteria and various microorganisms from passenger luggages, that will be loaded and/or unloaded to and from airplanes at the airports.
Technical Status:
Nowadays, the use of aircrafts in passenger transportation is very effective, it is possible to travel to almost all countries by plane. The number of people, traveling continuously, increases, as the aircrafts deliver people from one place to another in a very short time. In this case, the fact, that aircraft carry bacteria and organisms between countries, seems to be an important problem.
The disease-causing virus, bacteria or organism in a country may not be able to cause harm to people, living in that country, because of their immunity to these organisms. However, the effects of microorganisms in other countries may be different. Therefore, aircrafts must be cleaned properly and effectively. Just cleaning the aircraft is not enough for effective cleaning. Luggages of the passengers, where they carry their clothes, should be cleared of the microorganisms in the countries, where they travel.
In the known technology, there is no method for clearing, disinfecting or removing microorganisms from the luggages of passengers, traveling on board. In this case, viruses and bacteria will be transported to different countries. This situation must be avoided.
In the literature search, a US patent document with number US8907304 (B2) was found. In the said document, statements are given, that“A mobile body is configured to move on a surface within an aircraft cabinet. A source of UV radiation is mounted on the moving body and configured to direct UV radiation to the surface at a predetermined dosage. At least two articulated arms are mounted on the mobile body and the arms are mounted with UV lamps respectively. The mobile body is a device(vehicle) to negotiate the hygienic level of an airplane corridor." in the aforementioned US8907304 (B2) US patent document, it is intended to disinfect aircraft seats and interior. There is absolutely no application for the luggages in it.
As a result, there is a need for a cleaning method, in which the known status of technic for the luggages in the aircraft will be exceeded and the disadvantages thereof will be eliminated.
Brief Description Of The Invention: The invention is a cleaning system with additional advantages, in which the known status of the technic for luggages in aircrafts will be exceeded, the disadvantages will be eliminated.
The object of the invention is to provide a new cleaning conveyor, to be adapted to band systems, which removes microorganisms, such as viruses and bacteria, from luggages, while they will be loaded and/or unloaded to and from airplanes.
A further object of the invention is to provide a new cleaning conveyor for disinfection of luggages, using ULV and UV-c technologies.
Another object of the invention is to provide a new cleaning conveyor, which avoids the trans-national transport of infectious diseases.
A further object of the invention is to provide a new cleaning conveyor for 360 grade cleaning in combination with the disinfection of luggages in a fast, safe, effective and automation-compatible manner.
The present invention, details explained above and has the following objections, is a new cleaning conveyor for luggages of passengers, traveling in airplanes, where this conveyor will disinfect harmful viruses, bacteria and microorganisms at entrances and exits of airplanes, with a feature to be adapted to the band systems, which carry the luggages, to have a body, comprising a plurality of UV light generators, destroying harmful micro-organisms, characterized with a plurality of disinfectant nozzles inside that said body, spraying disinfecting liquid onto the luggage to destroy harmful microorganisms. Another aspect of the invention is that; the said light generator being positioned to act on all surfaces of the luggage.

A further feature of the invention is, that the disinfecting process of the body side surface comprises a digital display, where the parameter setting can be made and indicated. Explanation Of Drawings:

On the contrary, it is intended to cover all alternatives, modifications and equivalents, which may be included in the scope of the invention as defined by the attached claims. Explanation Of The Invention:
In this detailed description, the cleaning conveyor (1 ) according to the invention is explained by examples, which will have no limiting effect for a better understanding of the subject.
The description discloses a cleaning conveyor (1 ), that removes insects, bacteria and various microorganisms from the luggages of the passengers (V), which will be loaded and/or unloaded to and from airplanes at the airports. In Drawing 1 , you can see a perspective view of the cleaning conveyor (1 ) according to the invention. Accordingly, the cleaning conveyor (1 ) will be applied to the luggage (V) transport and movement bands (B) at the airports. 100% protection will be provided by applying the two types of bands (B), which load the luggages (V) to the aircraft and carry the luggages (V) to the passengers. The luggages (V) carried by the band (B) will be moved through the conveyor (1 ) body (10) and finally discharged from the conveyor in a disinfected status. If the direction of movement ot the band (B) will be considered to be in the direction of the arrow, the luggage (V) in the figure will exit from the conveyor (1 ). On the side surface of the body (10), there is a digital display (13), where the parameters of the disinfecting process can be adjusted and displayed.
In Drawing 2, you can see a sectional view of the cleaning conveyor (1 ). There are a plurality of light-emitting UV light generators (1 1 ), disposed on the inner surface of the conveyor (1 ) body (10), which destroy bacteria, viruses and harmful organisms. The iight generators (1 1 ) clean and purify all surfaces of the luggage (V). In Drawing 3, a different alternative about the invention is presented. The light generator (1 1 ) may be provided with disinfecting liquid / ion-disinfecting disinfectant nozzles (12). Or, the cleaning function can be improved, by positioning two products simultaneously on the conveyor (1 ) body (10).
With the cleaning conveyor (1 ) according to the invention, luggages (V) at the airports can be cleaned without being damaged and all bacteria and viruses on them will be removed. In addition, since the conveyor (1 ) will be already applied to the band (B) systems, that will be already used in the existing carrying and movement systems, there will be no time loss during the cleaning process.
Claims
1 TSie invention is a new cleaning conveyor (1 ), which purifies luggages of passengers (V) by disinfecting and eliminating harmful viruses, bacteria and microorganisms at entrances and exits of airplanes with following features;
- Containing a body (10), mounted so as to remain stationary on the movable bands (B), which ensure the carrying of the luggage (V),
- Containing a plurality of UV light generators (1 1 ) disposed within the said body (10), which destroy harmful micro-organisms,
- Characterizing in that said body (10), that comprises a plurality of disinfectant nozzles (12) to dispose harmful microorganisms by spraying disinfected liquid onto the luggages (V). 2 Cleaning conveyor (1 ) according to claim 1 , characterized in that; the said light generator (1 1 ) being positioned to act on all surfaces of the luggages (V)
3 Cleaning conveyor (1 ) according to claim 1 , characterized in that; wherein the said disinfectant nozzles (12) are positioned to act on all surfaces of the luggages (V).
4 Cleaning conveyor (1 ) according to claim 1 , characterized in that; the disinfecting process on the side surface of the body (10) comprises a digital display (13), in which the parameter setting can be made and indicated.
5- Cleaning conveyor (1 ) according to claim 1 , the movable band (B) has a perforated wire form which is permeable to the liquid sprayed from the nozzles (12).
