Le système d'éclairage (3) comporte en outre - un module de stockage de données (9) dans lequel sont stockés des paramètres de fonctionnement, le module de stockage de données (9) étant relié de manière séparable à l'appareil de commande (5) par le biais d'une interface (11) de sorte que, par séparation du module de stockage de données (9) de l'interface et par branchement d'un autre module de stockage de données (9) ayant de nouveaux paramètres de fonctionnement, ces nouveaux paramètres de fonctionnement peuvent être disponibles pour la commande du système d'éclairage (3) au moyen de son appareil de commande (5).
