Definitions
- the present disclosure relates to a stopper for a dental drill, and more particularly, to a stopper for a dental drill that is easy to fasten to a drill but is not inconvenient to grip even with a short specification.
- Titanium artificial teeth which are biocompatible materials, take over. Titanium artificial teeth are called implants, and implanting artificial teeth into tooth defects is called implant treatment.
- the drill is rotated within the oral cavity to move up to the maxillary sinus mucosa, gradually eliminating alveolar bone.
- the procedure is performed by mounting on.
- Such a safety device is called a stopper.
- a stopper When the stopper is used, drilling as much as desired is possible, and if the height information of the remaining bone is accurately known, the burden on the perforation of the maxillary sinus mucosa can be further reduced.
- the conventionally known stopper 10 is formed in a ring shape as shown in FIG. 1 and is fitted into and coupled to a groove 22 provided adjacent to the stepped jaw 21 of the dental drill 20.
- the bottom of the stopper 10 may be in contact with the periphery of the alveolar bone to control the drilling depth (eg, US Pat. No. 4,365,958).
- the stopper 10 is fitted to a drill connected to the handpiece before drilling, and drilling is performed while the stopper 10 is fitted to the drill. At this time, the operator performs drilling while holding the handpiece with one hand.
- the fastening structure can be fastened to the handpiece. If this is not implemented or the operator is uncomfortable in coupling the stopper 10 to the dental drill. That is, since the area of the outer surface of the stopper 10 that can hold the stopper 10 is narrow, it becomes difficult for the operator to hold the stopper 10.
- the stopper 10 has a specification in units of 1 mm so as to control various drilling depths.
- the stopper 10 having a short specification is not manufactured.
- the present disclosure was created to solve the above-described problems, and more particularly, it is a technical object of the present invention to provide a stopper for a dental drill that can be easily fastened to a drill and easily gripped even when manufactured to a short specification.
- a shank on one side, a drilling portion on the other side opposite to one side, and between the shank and the drilling portion is provided with a stepped body protruding outwards And a stopper for a dental drill for adjusting a drilling depth of the dental drill, which is coupled to a dental drill that drills a hole in the alveolar bone, the stopper being inserted into the dental drill from the drilling portion side to the step of the body.
- a stopper for a dental drill is provided.
- the stopper for one dental drill there is an advantage that it is possible to drill at intervals of 1 mm at all depths.
- the stopper for another dental drill according to the present disclosure, has the advantage of being a stopper of a short specification, but is easily fastened to the drill and has no inconvenience in gripping the stopper.
