  • the number of gaming tables available is one of the major factors affecting the revenue. Generally, the more gaming tables in play, the more revenue the house or casino is capable of making. As more gaming tables require more floor space, floor space is at a premium. It is the desire of a gaming premises management to make the most efficient use of the space available in order to maximize revenue to the business.
  • a gaming premises offers a wide variety of tables games, such as blackjack, craps, roulette and baccarat, operated by one or more live dealers and /or croupiers. From time to time, players may suddenly gravitate to one type of game and crowded around one or two tables. Also, the demand for certain table games tends to be seasonal in nature. It has been a common gaming industry practice to provide sufficient tables for these games to accommodate peak customer demand which may only occur two or three times a year. The result of this practice has been that a number of such tables taking up valuable floor space stand idle much of the time.

These projectors 14 are adapted to create big pictures in tight spaces such as with the cavity of the stand 12 of the gaming table 10. As the projectors 14 are operating in an enclosed environment, there will be no shadow obstructing the image or light shining in the user's face.
  • these projectors 14 have very short throw ratios, the distance from projector to projection top 16 compared to the size of the projection top.
  • the enclosed stands 12 provides a stable environment for the projectors 14 to project the images on the projector top 16.
  • the skirting of the stand 12 blocks the ambient light from outside the stand getting into the stand, and hence the outside ambient light cannot affect the projector.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne une table de jeu, ladite table de jeu comprenant un pupitre, un ou plusieurs projecteurs associés au pupitre, et un dessus de projection comportant une surface horizontale pour le jeu. Lors de l'utilisation, lesdits projecteurs projettent une image numérique destinée à être affichée sur la surface inférieure du dessus de projection. L'image numérique est visible pour les utilisateurs regardant depuis une position surplombant le dessus de projection, et les projecteurs sont portés par le pupitre de manière à se situer sous le dessus de projection.
