La présente invention concerne une composition comprenant comme principe actif un extrait de thé vert destinée au traitement des lésions cutanées provoquées par la poussière fine, qui permet de ramener à un niveau normal l'expression d'au moins un élément appartenant au groupe constitué par KRT 1, CLDN 1, CLDN 4 et OCLN, qui tous sont des gènes dont le niveau d'expression dans les cellules de la peau est affecté par la poussière fine. L'utilisation de la composition de l'invention permet de ramener à un niveau normal l'expression des gènes qui était modifiée par la poussière fine et ainsi traiter les lésions des cellules de la peau.
