Abstract

This is a product that pertains to the field of escalators and safety. The present subject matter relates to a transparent or non-transparent stationary fairing, for protecting an escalator handrail, with the aim of protecting users by preventing the occurrence of accidents caused by the turning rubber belt of the escalator being visible and actually serving as handrail, which gives rise to accidents.

Description

1. Refere-se o presente objeto a uma carenagem imóvel, transparente ou não, protetora para corrimão de escada rolante, com o objetivo de proteger aos usuários, evitando a ocorrência de acidentes, devido ao fato de a cinta de borracha giratória da escada rolante ser aparente e servir atualmente como corrimão, proporcionando acidentes.  1. Atualmente, temos visto através de imagens e filmes na internet, que principalmente crianças têm utilizado os corrimãos das escadas rolantes como suportes para uma brincadeira perigosa, para sentirem como se estivem "voando", pois seguram no corrimão projetando o corpo para frente e com o movimento do corrimão, a criança é lançada, podendo cair para fora do limite da escada, o que em shoppings e outros locais pode ocasionar uma queda de alturas elevadas.  2.
