Abstract

The method for increasing the efficiency of water resource diversion and utilisation is designed for the rapid diversion of large volumes of water over long distances and for the most efficient utilisation of water resources. The invention envisages the use of water mains of variable section, with diffusors at the inlet and outlet which create an acceleration and deceleration of the flow, and the use of a water column, created by the differential between the level of water in a basin and a hydroelectric power plant located below.
