Abstract

The present invention refers to a device that provides for support when people is walking. Also, it allows walkers to trace marks on the floor, no matter the type of terrain. It is useful for sports such as hiking or running, or another activity that involves routes along areas of difficult geographic location.

Description

FOOTPRINT MAKING STICK
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention can be included in the technical field of hiking, in particular, of sticks. More specifically, the object of the invention refers to a footprint marking device that provides for easy tracing for people when practising this activity and at the same time provides for support when walking. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
It is well known that trails are not often suited with the best conditions for recognition and identification of the routes, especially those where the woods are quite dense. These situations contribute to disorientation of people who can get lost, since they do not find the route they used when starting the trail.
The current solutions include mechanisms such as technological systems for geographic location, as for example GPS; even most mobile devices are now provided with these location systems. However, there are hiking places where the signal for these devices is not available. There are also sticks that as well as serving as support when walking, leave some footprints when contacting with the ground. However, these footprints are very superficial, such that they are likely to be eliminated by natural phenomena such as rain, run-off or by some animals which pass by and eliminate said footprints.
Patent US8800578 B2 describes a device as an aid for equilibrium and support onto a thin ice surface and water, and fixing thereof, which can be higher traction onto the ice, is achieved by means of a metal tip, pressed against the ice by a foot peg, serving also as a grapple hook. Patent US8714173 B2 describes a stick as a walking support, having a stopper coupled to the lower end of the elongated piece and a support apparatus for walking support. Therefore, considering the above document it is necessary to find solutions directed to solve the difficulty of locating any person practising activities such as hiking and others, in difficult location areas. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention refers to a footprint marking device which also provides for support when walking, leaves identifiable footprints both for the person performing the activity and for those who intend for tracing said person in case this is reported missing.
The footprint marking device comprises a telescopic supporting stick for being used when walking. The stick will be hollow inside, such that the system is implemented by a mechanism that, when the person desires so, shoots and introduces at the same time, an identifiable object in the ground, being superficially visible, allowing leaving a mark acting as a footprint along their route. Furthermore, the lower end of the stick is coupled to a piece which will also serve for marking footprints, but this time through a stamp of certain thickness capable of, when leaving a mark, making this difficult to eliminate by any cause. This last piece is incorporated with the object that if the stick is left without munitions to be shot into the ground, this works as an alternative option.
The main object of the present invention is to be provided with a device that as well as being used as walking support, works as a footprint marker. This will allow the person to identify their route when coming back and also, in case this is reported missing, making the tracing process easier. This will be a manageable device, being ergonomic and featuring easy portability.
Therefore, an aspect of the present invention refers to a footprint marker stick characterized in that it comprises:
- a height regulating or telescopic system comprising orifices placed at the lower area of the stick base;
- a demountable marking piece located and coupled at the lower part of the base; and - a cartridge shooting system located at the upper inner part of the stick base preferably comprising:
- a trigger element located on the stick handle;
- an actuator of the trigger mechanism located inside the stick base;
- a cartridge or munition supply chamber situated in the middle of the stick base; and
- an outlet canyon for cartridges located in the inner and lower part of the stick base. DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
FIG. 1 .- It shows an inner view of the stick of the invention. FIG. 2.- It shows a front view of the stick of the invention.
FIG. 3.- It shows a lower view of the stick footprint or stamp.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION The following is a description of a preferred embodiment of the invention based on the attached figures.
FIG. 1 is an inner view showing the integrating parts of the stick comprising: the trigger or actuator (1 ) that shoots the munitions that will be buried in the walking surface, the cylinder (2) supporting the upper end of the stick, the actuator (3) of the triggering mechanism, the triggering mechanism (4) attached to the actuator (3); the supporting cylinder (5), the footprint or stamp (6) coupled to the stick, the outlet orifice (7) through which the cartridge or munition will go out, the canyon (8) through which the cartridge passes, the cartridge supply chamber (9) containing the munitions to be shot, the cylinder (10) supporting the stick containing the inner pieces, the stick handle (1 1 ) where the hand will rest, and the chain (12) that will allow the device to be hand-held. FIG. 2 shows the trigger or actuator (1 ) for the munitions, the stick outer lower supporting cylinder (5), the outer supporting cylinder (10) of the stick, the handle (1 1 ) and the orifices (13) for the telescopic device which allow adjusting the stick size.
FIG. 3 shows the outer lower supporting cylinder (5), the footprint or stamp (6), the outlet orifice (7) for the munition or cartridge, the inner lower supporting cylinder (10) of the stick, and the handle (1 1 ).
