Abstract

The preesent invention consists of an electronic and computing apparatus or device which scans a tyre surface for detecting irregularities, without requiring dismounting thereof from the vehicle it is installed in. It uses a scanning method by means of sensors and cameras placed on a tape, which can be adapted to the tyre shape. The portable scanner sends the image of the detected object to a screen, for it to be analysed by means of a close-up. Also the portable scanner has LEDs that, by means a colour code, turn on upon detecting the object found on the tyre surface.
